AbstractVomiting during the neonatal period is frequent. The purpose is to detect neonates and infants with digestive pathology requiring urgent management such as duodenal atresia, small bowel volvulus, acute intussusception, and hypertrophic pyloris stenosis. All of these conditions may be diagnosed by ultrasound which should be performed when clinically suspected.Copyright © 2011. Published by Elsevier Masson SAS.
