AbstractHemorrhagic complications from transection of cervical arteries in blunt traumas are rare. We report a case of potentially fatal hemorrhage from rupture of the left vertebral artery in a closed trauma, successfully treated by endovascular injection of glue. Endovascular embolization may be considered as an alternative to surgical exploration in the treatment of traumatic lesions of vertebral arteries.
