AbstractIsolated injury of gall bladder as a result of blunt abdominal trauma is very rare. We report a case of 39 year old man, who was admitted to our Clinic during emergency. He presented upper right quadrant abdominal pain, increasing on palpation and guarding. Ultrasound examination showed fluid under liver. Disruption of the neck of the gall bladder was found during laparotomy. Cholecystectomy was performed. Patient was discharged from hospital five days after the operation.
