    AbstractThis review briefly discusses induced therapeutic hypothermia (TH), which represents the intentional induction of a lowered core body temperature of 35 degrees C or less. The focus is on resuscitative or postarrest hypothermia, the data that support it, and the practical issues pertaining to TH implementation.
