AbstractSubcutaneous emphysema after laparoscopic surgery is not uncommon but infection of the subcutaneous space because of gas forming organisms causing emphysema after a laparoscopic procedure is an extremely rare entity. We report a case of infective subcutaneous emphysema after laparoscopic rectopexy.
