AbstractThe authors have made a comparative assessment of variants of the infusion-transfusion aid in operations on kidneys in nephrolithiasis and echinococcosis of the lungs and liver in 286 children. Results of the investigation have shown considerable advantages of hemodilution methods. Of special value is thought to be artificial hemodilution with controlled hypotension which makes the donor blood not necessary in 90% of children during operation.
