AbstractAlthough high immunization status against pertussis maintained in neonates and children, the increase in pertussis cases has been observed in Poland since 1990-ies, especially in adolescent and adults. Wide use of pertussis acellular vaccines intended for adolescents and adult's immunization might prolong immunity against pertussis. The goal of the work was to present current view of immunogenicity and reactogenicity of those pertussis vaccines in different age groups.
