[The role of preventive activities in the process of disease prevention as an integral part of primary medical sanitary care].

AbstractThe article deals with the study results related to preventive activities in the primary medical sanitary care system. It is demonstrated that the prevention activities of physicians are lacking of both proper organization and adequate involvement into the process. The medical personnel in the primary medical sanitary system need enhancing of professional qualification especially in the field of health promotion and disease prevention. The study proved the necessity of including the prevention into the actual health policy and health care planning.
