AbstractWe are going to present a special case of head injury caused by a gunshot. In this case it resulted in a fracture of the skull, but the bullet did not penetrate the skull. It was deflected by the bone, leaving the body at an angle. But bone fragments, acting as secondary bullets, penetrated the brain. In spite of a massive cerebral trauma and brain injury, no retrograde amnesia could be diagnosed. The patient recovered to such an extent, that he could return to his former job. Special characteristics of head injuries caused by bullets will be referred to.
