AbstractSevere intratumoral hemorrhage in posterior fossa tumors is reported in two children, one with a Grade I astrocytoma, and the other with a medulloblastoma. Fatal bleeding occurred a few hours after insertion of ventricular drainage for preoperative management of obstructive hydrocephalus.
