    AbstractCurrent methods of organ procurement are successful but are not adequately reducing waiting lists for organs. Alternative methods could result in greater organ availability. The small-scale study described here examines attitudes to some alternative methods of procurement, emphasies the importance of public support in organ donor programmes and makes recommendations for future programmes.
