AbstractVenovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation with lepirudin anticoagulation was successfully used for a complicated case of Wegener's granulomatosis and heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Interestingly, a linear correlation was found between activated partial thromboplastin time and activated clotting time during lepirudin anticoagulation.
