AbstractThe authors report on their experience delivering 87 women vaginally with previous cesarean sections. Epidural anesthesia does not appear to be contraindicated as long as the block is not higher than the level of the tenth thoracic dermatome. The use of an infusion of oxytocin should be accompanied by internal fetal heart monitoring. Furthermore, induction of labor with oxytocic agents appears preferable.
