AbstractIn the second part of this review, we summarized the effects of alpha 2-adrenoceptor agonists (clonidine and dexamedetomidine) in regional anesthesia and pain control, and evaluated their usefulness as anesthetic adjuvants and analgesics in the clinical settings. In addition, we referred to practical problems associated with their use.
