AbstractThis paper explores the moral issues associated with maintaining patient confidentiality. In particular, the paper focuses on the problems that can arise in A&E, such as conversations in curtained cubicles being overheard. A problem-solving approach is offered as one way of addressing potential breaches of confidentiality.
