AbstractCerebral oxygen monitoring continuously monitors cerebral oxygenation with a noninvasive technique based on near-infrared spectroscopy. In this report, we describe 2 children in whom skin burns followed the reuse of probes monitoring cerebral oxygenation with In Vivo Optical Spectroscopy.
