    AbstractAortoesophageal fistula is a rare manifestation of thoracic aortic surgery or esophageal disease. We describe a patient who underwent emergent endovascular repair of an aortoesophageal fistula due to a ruptured penetrating ulcer of the descending thoracic aorta and review the literature on this subject.© 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
