AbstractAcute dissection of the abdominal aorta or common iliac arteries after blunt trauma is a very rare injury. We present an unusual case of acute traumatic dissection of the common iliac arteries. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of acute traumatic dissection of the iliac arteries with ultimate spontaneous healing.
