    AbstractWhether the CMS' pay-for-performance plan ever materializes is inconsequential. Executives say quality performance will undoubtedly play a larger role in reimbursement. Opal Reinbold, left, from Palomar Pomerado Health says the system participated in a quality incentive demonstration project because "it prepared us for how this evidence-based practice was going to be applied."
