    AbstractSymptoms and disease processes can overlap, and neurologic symptoms of the hand or arm are not necessarily due to local pathology. To combat these difficulties, the authors present a basic review of neuroanatomy, the neurologic examination, the principles of electromyography, and the process of formulation.
