AbstractSince the discovery of Helicobacter pylori in the early 1980s several treatment regimens have been developed to effectively treat this infection. In this article we review the most recent European management guidelines and in view of the unavailability of some drugs consider new treatment regimens for the management of H. pylori in Ireland.
