    AbstractAdrenaline autoinjectors are widely prescribed for self-treatment of anaphylactic syndromes. Accidental misfire into digits can cause prolonged significant ischaemia with serious outcomes. Phentolamine is a readily available treatment, which is easily and safely given in the emergency setting.
