AbstractBullous pemphigoid is an autoimmune bullous dermatosis that can be preceded by a prodromal phase, usually lasting weeks to months, during which the cutaneous changes are dermatitic rather than bullous. Two cases of unusually long prodromal periods, 18 months and 6 years, are reported.
