AbstractThis clinical study was performed to evaluate the advantages and limitations of 3 acoustic stethoscopes and 3 electronic stethoscopes. It shows that it is possible to design a new electronic stethoscope by considering the advantages of both the acoustic and electronic stethoscopes.
