    AbstractStudy on repair of peripheral nerve injury has been proceeding over a long period of time. With the use of microsurgery technique since 1960s the quality of nerve repair has been greatly improved. In the past 40 years, with the continuous increase of surgical repair methods, more progress has been made on the basic research of peripheral nerve repair.
