AbstractThe computed tomographic (CT) finding of pseudo-subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) mimics that of SAH. In brain swelling due to acute hypoxic anoxic encephalopathy, the increased attenuation in the basal cisterns and subarachnoid spaces on CT scans is a characteristic finding of acute SAH.
