AbstractClinical applications of videostroboscope in phoniatrics were investigated. Altogether 79 patients with functional lesions of the larynx and 20 with normal were examined. Measurements of vibration, amplitude, frequency and mucosal wave of vocal cords yielded cords objective information about vibration in the functional dysphonia. Videolaryngostroboscope can help identify the kind of functional diseases of the larynx.
