AbstractSpasticity is reported in 90 p. 100 of multiple sclerosis patients causing pain, spasms, loss of function and difficulties in nursing care. A variety of oral and parenteral medications are available. Review of comparative efficacy and tolerability of anti-spastic agents is performed in order to guide rational prescribing.
