UnlabelledHeart lesion is characteristic in Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, however there is no unanimous opinion about its appearance time.ObjectiveTo evaluate early changes of the left ventricular morphometric parameters, systolic and diastolic function for the children with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy and to compare with the same age healthy children's data.Material And MethodsEighteen patients with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy and 15 same age healthy boys were investigated. Mean age - 11 years. Echocardiography was performed in all cases.ConclusionThere were no changes of the left ventricular morphometric parameters, systolic and diastolic function observed in young age patients with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy.
