AbstractHigh-resolution CT (HRCT) examinations were performed in 22 patients with temporal bone trauma. The CT findings were correlated with the clinical signs and symptoms, routine head CT findings were also examined. HRCT was able to demonstrate fracture lines, ossicular chain disruptions, facial nerve injuries, and hemotympanums in majority of cases. Associated many severe head injuries (brain contusion etc.) were noted in the routine head CT.
