AbstractA 47-year-old man with brain tumor close to the speech center was scheduled for biopsy under awake craniotomy. Anesthesia was maintained with continuous infusion of propofol and intermittent fentanyl. Airway was secured with a laryngeal mask throughout the surgery. During cortical stimulation, his phonation was clear and there was no evidence of hypoxia.
