AbstractMetastatic bone pain is characteristic of cancer pain. Satisfactory analgesic effects are achieved in more than 70% of patients with cancer pain who receive a combination of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and opioids, according to the WHO therapeutic guidelines.
