    AbstractThe author has identified the main topics in actual different guidelines in pre-hospitalization critical care managing of trauma in military operation areas (MOA). The Italian army main battlefield organization and others NATO experiences. The author reviews the literature regarding the most common military procedures, mainly focused on shock first aid, crystalloid and colloid use and a personal experience on this topic is also presented.
