AbstractThe authors treated 60 patients with vertebrogenic lumbosacral radiculitis and lumboischialgias accompanied by sclerotomic and myotomic pain. Intravenous procaine blockades of the legs were used for this purpose. Improvement was achieved in the majority of patients. The authors present the rationale of blockades and describe the technique of their performance, as well as contraindications for them.
