AbstractIn a sexually transmitted disease clinic-based sample of men who have sex with women, positivity for urethral Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae was 3.5% and 3.1%, respectively, among patients whose only urethral exposure in the previous 3 months was receiving fellatio from a woman. Urethral infections acquired by fellatio might contribute to ongoing disease spread.
