AbstractPsoriasis is a common inflammatory dermatosis which affects 1.2 million people in the UK. Psoriasis is a chronic relapsing, remitting disease that varies in severity from relatively mild localized disease, to patients who have all their skin involved. With adequate treatment the signs and symptoms of psoriasis can be relieved. Newer therapeutic options are offering improvements in care for sufferers.
