    AbstractTraumatic intracranial aneurysms are rare lesions but should be considered in penetrating head injury, particularly in cases of low-velocity gunshot wounds or stab wounds to the head. Because most of these aneurysms are false aneurysms, treatment may require excision or trapping procedures.
