AbstractThe professional and technical staff of the Atlanta Cardiovascular Research Institute preclinical laboratory facility are aggressively pursuing basic and applied research to aid in the understanding of cardiovascular disease and develop new therapeutic approaches. We are optimistic that our intense and broad-ranging research efforts will contribute to important advances in the care of cardiovascular disease patients in the near future and for years to come.
