AbstractHere we report a case of sustentorial brain abscess due to Listeria monocytogenes. Blood culture and procalcitonine blood measurement were negative. L. monocytogenes was isolated from CSF after inoculation in Castañeda medium.Copyright © 2011 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
