AbstractWe describe a case of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis in a male adult with lung cancer. To achieve the successful operation of lung cancer, we used percutaneous veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) during whole lung lavage (WLL) of the contralateral lung. We performed successful WLL under ECMO support.
