AbstractA 31-year-old male presented to the emergency room with a sudden onset of blindness and a rash after a five-day history of myalgia, abdominal pain, and fever. The diagnostic approach and the patient's clinical course are presented. Indications for surgical intervention in staphyloccal endocarditis are discussed. Surgical and autopsy findings are reviewed.
