AbstractWe describe the third known case of a traumatic left anterior descending artery to left ventricular fistula. Emergency operative repair was required on day 7 for delayed pericardial tamponade. The significant incidence of late serious sequelae with traumatic coronary artery fistulas suggests that early surgery is warranted.
