    AbstractThe use of human patient simulators in UK health-care training is increasing. These devices are educational tools for imparting knowledge, teaching technical skills, drill training and human factors training for single or multidisciplinary groups. This article explores some of the ways in which they are used, illustrated with examples of simulation training at Barts and the London Medical Simulation Centre.
