AbstractWe report a case of spontaneous dislocation of the crystalline lens into the anterior chamber in a patient with no history of trauma or any systemic disease associated with zonular dialysis. Anterior lens dislocation developed 10 months after argon laser iridotomy had been performed for angle-closure glaucoma. We suspect the argon laser iridotomy might have induced localized zonular dialysis that resulted in progressive zonular weakness and, finally, lens dislocation into the anterior chamber.
