AbstractNeovascularisation of the iris developed in a woman with congenital cyanotic heart disease. This neovascularisation was predominately in the form of microhaemangiomas at the pupillary margin causing spontaneous hyphaemas. Proliferative vascular alterations did not develop in the retina and secondary glaucoma did not occur.
