AbstractWe describe the failure of an intravenous benzodiazepine to control non-convulsive status epilepticus occurring in six patients with the Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. In one patient the benzodiazepine induced a paradoxical response with clinical and electroencephalographic seizures.
