AbstractThe new nondepolarizing muscle relaxant vecuronium bromide (Norcurone) was applied to 30 patients in the course of general balanced anesthesia for abdominal operations. The advantages of Norcurone over other similar nondepolarizing muscle relaxants used so far are pointed out. The fact that Norcurone has no adverse effect on the hemodynamics is considered essential advantage for its acceptance in anesthesiologic practice.
