BackgroundCephalhematoma is more frequently associated with hard labor of infancy, but the incidence of ossified cephalhematoma is a rare clinical entity.Case DescriptionThis case report presents a 2-month-old infant with an ossified cephalhematoma who was treated successfully by excision.ConclusionsCephalhematoma goes to an ossification process rather than a calcification one. Surgery should be used to shave off the ossified cephalhematoma.Copyright © 2016 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
