Drawing a line between killing and letting die: the law, and law reform, on medically assisted dying.

AbstractWhile much has been written about the professional ethics of physician assisted dying, little is known about where the law draws the line, whether the law is enforced in practice, and how the law should be reformed to reflect changing public opinion and ethical thought. This article addresses these questions and the need for clearer public policy [in the United States] on physician assisted dying.
