AbstractDeep vein thrombosis is a rare complication after arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. We present a patient with primary thrombocytopenia who had deep vein thrombosis after arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The patient recovered well at a 2-year follow-up. The purpose of this study was to enhance the awareness on venous thrombosis, a rare complication after arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
